What it does
CR 20 24 is a companion to CR 20 05. Instead of shutting off all loss from occurrences before the retroactive date, it provides limited coverage for loss occurring before that date, on the terms shown in the endorsement.
Who needs it
New discovery-form accounts that had prior crime coverage, where the underwriter wants a retro date without leaving a full gap.
How it fits the policy
This endorsement changes the base crime or fidelity form it is attached to and is listed with the other endorsements on the declarations. Schedules in the endorsement (names, positions, amounts or dates) control how it applies, so confirm the schedule is complete before binding. ISO's forms index lists the current edition for 51 jurisdictions.
Quoting and selling notes
- Get prior crime policy details (carrier, form, limits, dates) before quoting a retro date.
- Arizona has its own version (CR 20 39).
