Code 6325 is an all-inclusive classification that is intended to apply to an entire job. Operations such as the digging of a trench, laying of conduit, backfilling and concrete or masonry work are contemplated. Cable laying by specialist contractors employing automatic equipment, which in one operation opens the trench, lays the cable and backfills is also contemplated. Code 7601 and 6325 may be assigned to a television cable company that performs both above and below ground cable installation using automatic equipment. Refer to codes 7600 and 7601 for individual operations performed by television cable companies and telephone companies. Refer to codes 7611, 7612 and 7613 for telephone or cable TV line installation operations performed by contractors that are not in the cable TV or telephone company business.
