Motor Carrier filings include high-level information like mileage, US DOT#, Carrier operation (interstate, intrastate), Haz/Non-Haz, Passenger Carriers, Power Units and number of Drivers. Depending on operations these MC's may also be required to report their Insurance data for certain coverage like Auto Liability, Cargo and Bond requirements. This information will include the Carrier, type of insurance, Limit, Policy# and Effective date of Coverage. When Insurance filings are required you'll also see a breakdown of Units (trucks, tractors, trailers, etc), and whether they are owned or leased. Check out the example below-
