What it does
MM 25 01 is the dealer counterpart of the Massachusetts Mandatory Endorsement MM 99 11. CAR's manual requires it for risks subject to the compulsory law written on the Auto Dealers Coverage Form: "These classifications shall be written on the Auto Dealers Coverage Form CA 00 25 and the Auto Dealers MA Mandatory Endorsement MM 25 01 must be attached." It brings the dealer form into line with Massachusetts compulsory coverages (bodily injury to others, personal injury protection, property damage and uninsured motorists). The current edition is 07 25.
Who needs it
Every Massachusetts dealer insured on CA 00 25 for plates issued by the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
